At Alpha we learn together, grow together and win together. We expect one another to challenge actions inconsistent with our culture, celebrate other people’s wins as well as our own, and seek what is best for Alpha rather than ourselves. We never forget that individual success is amplified by the team around us.

Be humble.

We have a saying at Alpha: squash the biggest ego in the room. Feedback is frequent and candid here, and we need to have humility to take it. But we never let criticism get to our hearts or praise go to our heads – nobody is the finished article and we look for ‘learn-it-alls’ not ‘know-it-alls’.

You need to

Seek reality.

We’re a team of people who can open their mind and consider multiple perspectives to get closer to reality. At Alpha we ask the hardest questions to find the best insights, and avoid group think and confirmation bias by seeking opposing opinions on the issue at hand. We seek to challenge the status quo but also know when to trust our collective perspective, because when all is said and done, we’ve got to where we are for a reason.

Make moves.

Whether it’s helping a client solve a problem, unlocking efficiencies in the business, or even bringing someone up who’s on a low, we do the meaningful things that make the biggest difference. To put it bluntly, we get sh*t done and are accountable for making the right things happen.

Expect more.

We’re comfortable with being uncomfortable, because that’s how we grow. By reflecting on our journey, being self- critical about our performance and using any setback as an opportunity for a comeback, we continually re-evaluate what it means to be successful and raise the bar even higher.
