The process of buying currency through Alpha FX is an uncomplicated process. Firstly contact your dedicated Dealer with the details of the currency you wish to purchase. They will then quote you a price for this specific amount. To proceed with the purchase they will take your instruction to trade verbally and forward confirmation of the transaction to you by email. The email will confirm the amount of currency purchased, the rate of exchange agreed and the date that we need to receive funds into the corresponding Client Account we hold at Lloyds TSB Plc, the details of which will also be provided.

Because Alpha does not offer third party payment services, we always return purchased currency directly back to our clients. For this reason when you open an account we request the completion of Standard Settlement Instructions for each currency your company purchases. Upon receipt of your funds the outgoing currency is automatically returned to this pre-agreed destination. Typically this is within 24 hours but can be achieved on the same day if we receive sold currency before 12pm.
